In 2023, I received the Allan J Tanenbaum Meritorious Service Award. With this award, I wanted to highlight an icon of the museum to make it more memorable. Robi is an unofficial mascot of the museum for the STEAM programming. My goal is to help Robi become a complete toy.
Robi the Robot is the unofficial mascot of the museum for the museum's STEAM programming. With his charming simplistic design, Robi serves as an icon for STEM areas of the museum. The ultimate goal of the project is to develop Robi into a complete toy that will provide hours of imaginative play and learning for toddlers. This required me to push Robi's design further moving from a literal icon into a character.
